Karl West - Specialist Mortgage Consultant
Karl has over 10 years within the financial services industry for both Barclays PLC and HW Fisher & Co. Having started out as a Chartered Accountant (ACA), he then became a Global Cash & Liquidity Specialist (CertICM) before finishing his corporate career as a Business Development Director in the Insurance sector.
Westways Financial was born when Karl decided to switch the corporate world in pursuit of supporting others’ with their property dreams. In 2024 Karl switched to helping his clients grow their portfolios, build developments and arranged bridging finance, from there our sister company Port Anchor Financial Solutions was born.
A passionate poker player, massive Arsenal fan (for his sins) and someone who much prefers to meet his clients for a round of golf whenever possible. He's already planning The Westways Golf Championships for this year so we'd love to see you there!
Trevor West, PCIAM, IAC, CeMAP - Compliance Director
Trevor has dedicated his entire career to the financial services industry, beginning in banking where he gained extensive experience across both retail and commercial lending. He later transitioned into wealth management, specialising in supporting entrepreneurial clients as well as professionals within the entertainment and creative sectors.
Since stepping away from the industry in 2018, Trevor has successfully managed a holiday let business and pursued his passion for property renovation alongside his wife. Outside of work, he is a keen fan of musical theatre, enjoys Pickleball, scenic rounds of golf and follows the Arsenal .
Hayley Spencer - Company Administrator
Hayley joined with many years of experience in the administrative and charity sectors, helping people has always been at the heart of her passion.
She enjoys being in the office and feeling part of an extended family, where everyone looks out for each other’s best interests (especially giving special, genuine care to her clients). Outside of work, Hayley loves spending time with her family, walking her much-loved (and very spoilt!) sausage dog Reggie and catching up with friends over coffee or a good brunch (her favourite being the bottomless type)!
She joined the world of finance to support individuals and families at pivotal times in their lives by taking the stress away from a complicated process.
